How do I force autoscale to be symmetric about an axis?

Hello everyone,

I have a signal that is displayed on a chart.  The amplitude varies quite a bit, so I was wondering if I could somehow force autoscale to be symmetric about the x-axis.

In other words, I want the y-scale to change so that the 0 is always in the middle.  The maximum and minimum values on the scale would then be Y and -Y.

What happens is sometimes the the positive scale will be larger than the negative scale.  I want to eliminate that.  Any ideas?

Thank you!

Don't use autoscale. You can check the min and max and for whichever has the greatest absolute value, set the chart's min and max with a property node.
