How do I distribute my xml error code file?

Hi all,

I am using labVIEW 8.2 Prof. on a RedHat Linux.

I built an application where I made the tick in the labVIEW build specification "Advanced->Copy error code files". Nevertheless when I start my new application and force an error which is actually defined in my error code file I get the message "This error code is undefined. ..."

My error code file is saved twice:

1. in /usr/local/lv82/user.lib/errors which works as long as I am using the VIs and not the actual application and

2. in <project-folder>/errors

Anything I missed?

Thanks,

Johannes

Hey,

Is it working in development environment and do you test the executable then at the development machine?

Thanks,

Christian

Please put your error definition file into the folder:

/usr/local/natinst/share/errors/
