I found a National Instruments folder in my documents folder, post-uninstall. It had a bunch of subfolders, most empty, nothing looked important. Just FYI.

A caveat when uninstalling using NIPM:
If you've installed any of your own executables, they will be managed by NIPM, so for step 1 and 2 above, select all, but then unselect the entries corresponding to your installed executables, or they will become uninstalled as well!
