1. Basic program structure of a UI driven program - from an NI Week presentation
2. UI driven program with data acquisition (actually from the sound card, not DAQ board, but the principle is the same).  This is a fairly advanced example.  You will need to learn about queues, LabVIEW objects, and the event structure to understand it well.

* Be as clear as you can about the specifics of the problem you are facing

* Post example code of what you have tried so far
