Google Maps VI in Tabview 2016 MAC

Hello,

I have the following part of a VI that generates a URL each 5 seconds, from incoming latitude and longitude, and represents the location of one object in Google Maps. This was implemented using Tabview 2016 for Windows.

Now I am migrating my VI to Tabview 2016 for MAC OS X and everything seams to be working fine but this loop:

gmaps.png

I tried to add a snippet but I couldn't select just was I want (I am a MAC beginner...).

This is giving me a few errors regarding the two nodes.

Can anyone help me fixing this?

Thank you.

Duarte

Hi Duarte,

do you think you can use ActiveX/DotNet functions on a MAC?

On do you think you will find Windows-specific software on a MAC?

Btw. what is "TabVIEW"?

Best regards,
GerdW

Hi GerdW,

I am sorry. Of course I mean Labview 2016 🙂

So, my problem is to make possible opening a Google Maps window in my front panel, in MAC, using an alternative to ActiveX/Dot Net.

I don´t kow how to do it.

Do you have any idea?

Duarte

Hi Duarte,

I'm no Apple fanboy so you need to ask someone else…

Best regards,

Hi Duarte,

As said by GerdW, ActiveX is a Windows technology, so not compatible with Mac OS.
