Get Refnr to Excel using FindWindowA (.dll) Change in labview update?

Hi!

Are using Call Library Function Node (FindWindowA) to get the refnr to a Excel sheet. When I have change the code to LV8 and use the function (after a build) the function returns Error if the person is not an Administrator on the computer?

Any one the have had this problem or know a way around it?

I haven’t seen it reported before but on the other hand I guess it isn’t the most common application either! Obviously something has changed in LabVIEW 8.0 that makes things work out differently and one thing I know has caused ‘problems’ in various cases before has been the changes to application instances that we have done. It is not a bug or something it is just that in many cases people have been forced to change their code somewhat due to the changes we had to implement.
