I can't seem to get a handle on the future of DataSocket. There is no replacement that I have found that is as easy to implement as the DataSocket that offers an infrastructure that can provide multiple subscribers to one host. When I look into the documentation, I see the recommendation to use alternatives such as shared variables, and these just don't match up in my opinion. Can we get some answers on this? What's so 'wrong' with using it?
