I have been looking at the LV Player examples of using white noise and DSP
to measure the frequency response of a product. The sample vi works well,
however, being rather ignorant in this subject, I am concerned that this
may not work as well using AO and AI calls. Do the stimulus and input data
have to coincident? What happens if the AI starts before the AO and gives
a time shift in the trwo sets of data? Is it necessary to synchronize the
data and can this be done easily in the vi or would it be easier to use a
2 channel AI and sample both the stimulus and the output?
If you have practical experience in this I would like to share information
with you.
