Of course this doesn't help because if you have 2 invalid numbers in a row, then the first invalid number is what gets pulled out of the feedback node.

 

Radio buttons are the correct answer here.  And if you want them to look like what you have now, then customize them!

Here's a cutomized Radio Button for you to use.  You can always right click and choose Advanced->Customize and put whatever boolean in there you want.
