File Dialog limited to 227 files (error 43)

Upon selection of the 228th file, the string indicator at the bottom of a file dialog gets blank and upon clicking "ok", the Dialog returns an empty array and error "43". The files are small ascii files with rather long filenames "PS010146981_Datataking_2nd_day.hdr" and sit in a folder that contains 14730 files.

Reducing the number of files does not influence the problem.

Changing the filepath does not influence the problem.

OS version?

The file dialog is typically supplied by the OS, so LabVIEW probably can't do much about it. Exactly which file dialog are you using?
