FieldPoint capture with collector problem

Hello,

I'm creating a graphical display for a lot of weather information. For some reason, when the Collector modules I have connected to FieldPoint modules reach the collector limit, instead of scrolling the history chart, the display resets itself. When I simulate the signal instead (with a sine wave for example), the display scrolls normally. Any ideas?

I have attached a real simple version demonstrating this effect. Obviously, if you don't have a fieldpoint to connect to, you can't run it, but hopefully there is an obvious solution to the way I have it coded.

Thanks!

Hi,

The data that’s being plotted is on a waveform chart. Waveform charts have 3 different kinds of update modes: strip, scope, and sweep. The strip chart will scroll when new data points are added and the current chart window length is exceeded, but the scope and sweep charts will reset from the beginning. To change the chart update modes, right-click on the chart, choose Data Operations >> Update Mode.

Hope this helps!

I have it on scroll; that's the problem!

Thanks for the reply.
