FTP Put File VI-What does 'active connection' mean i.e what is different when I set to TRUEvsFALSE? Several computers have had problems connecting to the FTP when more than 1 network adapter is installed. Changing this option from TRUE to FALSE seems to resolve the issue. What exactly is the difference between an active and a passive connection?

Does your FTP server allow anonymous logins? This article may help clear up some confusion if that is the case.

You can see in the article that, in general, the data port waits for a connection when using the "passive" command, and initiates the connection when using the "active" command. Let me know if you have any more questions.
