Can anybody tell me what they think of my program? it is a satellite picture viewer for the U.S.A.

You can look at black & white pictures, topo maps, and urban pictures (in urban areas), it also has different zoom levels, and it has a bookmarks feature.

Forgot to mention that it needs QuickTime to display GIF pictures.

If you have a Mac, it's built-in, otherwise get it
here.

I have a network connection, T3 I believe.  Corporate network.  I get a TCP/IP Open Connection error.  I've used TCP/IP with LV before and never had any trouble.

Hmm. Used it here on Windows and Mac - no problem.

What is your error code?

Possible firewall or proxy issue?

I'm having trouble with Quick Time (v6.5.2) on my computer.  That is why the vi doesn't work.  Our corporate IT decided that they would not allow us to download the latest version of Quick Time, so they put a block on it.  These guys have gone too far.

It's probably because it comes packaged with iTunes and they don't want to have everyone use iTunes on company computers for (illegal) music repositories.

Just a thought,
Bob Young

I have an apple computer at home (I hate microshaft).  I'll just bring the vi's home and try it there.
