FFT doesnt produce expected value

Solved!
Go to solution

My vi attached opens a spreadsheet file attached and input values of approx 0.37 into the spectra measurement vi. I am expecting values around 0.37 in my FFT output, but lo I see -80!

If I understand DSP correctly, FFT suppose to show the occurance frequency of a particular amplitude. I am very sure I have fed values of around 0.37 into the spectra vi. So what is wrong?

In the spectral measurement configuration you have enabled the Result as dB that you have to change to linear... It is done now check it...
