Extracting upper Blobs from array

Hi all,

I need to extract the upper blobs (where there is a concentration of non-zero elements) in an array. There are many blobs and i just need the upper ones.

The image attached is an example of the array elements, though it varies always. That is, the element configuration is not always the same.

Take a look at the Pirate Me example here

This example has VIs written to do a threshold on a 2D array image and then Label the blobs

The threshold should give you the ability to determine where to have the upper blobs
