Im trying to programatically extract the names of the waveforms within an .hws file (found in fred.zip) that was created using the Digital Waveform Editor, see "hws_get_wfm_names.vi". I've used a collection of NI vis found in the pallette that seem suitable but don't give me any names. I've attached an .hws file as an example and the names can be seen in the Capture.png. Can anyone point out where I have gone wrong - it looked like the sensible thing to dousing these ready made vis but.... maybe not.
