Does anyone know what happened to the Expression Node in LabVIEW 2019?

expression node.png

Degrees to radians and radians to degrees is still however there.

It used to be in the Numeric pallette but is no longer there. Also can't find it using quickdrop.

It's under Mathematics -> Scripts & Formulas.

Note: You can find things by clicking the "Search" button on a pinned palette.

Yeah, things move around between versions. I remember Variants being moved a couple of times.

This is a non-issue if you use quickdrop. 😉

Don't have Scripts & Formulas. Only using LabVIEW base so guess the Expression Node has been removed.

Will still check my install as did an upgrade using NI Package Manager which is unpredictable at the best of times...

If(?) it has been moved to the scripts palette and that palette is not available in base, it is probably still there somewhere in vi.lib, but no longer directly accessible if you only have base. Seems like an oversight.

(Posting by phone, will investigate later).

I posted a summary in the bug thread. Hopefully somebody can look into this.

Thanks a lot. That is what I expected because they still work, just can't be found easily.

Regardless of which development system you have, and regardless of what's on the palettes, all built-in functions & controls always work.

Attached is a fun one that most people don't have on a palette.

Strangely enough I don't have th expression node in 2019.0.1f1 (SP 1) 32-bit, but I have it in LV 2019.0f2 64 bit.

Any share this observation or is my 32-bit installation broken?
