Ben,

According to one dictionary "wire" may come from the Latin "viere" to plait or weave. Unfortunately my high school Latin was too many years ago for me to attempt to conjugate it for you.

NI support sent me the Exmaple Finder launcher that forces everything to English.

This was reported to R&D (# 3V69D6FN) and was fixed in LabVIEW 8.2. Here is a link to the current evaluation software download for LabVIEW.

Now...

I would have expected TiTou or CC to respond to this... 😉

It was a "hidden" feature to teach French..  See.. there's always a bonus to bying NI products!
