Evaluation Version of Labview 18

I am attempting to download Labview 2018 for evaluation purposes but it only allows me to download the 32-bit version.

I want the 64-bit version so how can I download that for eval purposes?

Hi Rohitsan,

Did you try downloading it through this link already? http://www.ni.com/download/labview-development-system-2018/7413/en/

If you are new to LabVIEW and just want to try it out, I doubt you will notice any difference between the 32-bit and 64-bit versions. I only run 32-bit LabVIEW on my 64-bit OS.

As do I.  If you don't need to manage massive amounts of data, LabVIEW 32-bit is the "work-horse", the one with more of the Toolkits, Modules, etc.  However, 64-bit is becoming more "feature-complete", I understand ...

Yes, I tried that link.

However, if I choose evaluation version, it only downloads the 32-bit version.

Hi rohitsan,

which should be ok for evaluation.

What kind of evaluation do you intend?

I am working very large datasets.

Is it impossible for me to download 64-bit Labview for eval purposes?

Hi rohitsan,

why don't you call your local NI sales rep?

They will always help you when you want to evaluate any NI product, may it be software or hardware!

Best regards,
GerdW

You can download and install any version you want, there is no specific "eval" version. All that matters is the activation. If you don't activate, it will be in eval mode and will stop working after a certain period. At any time you can turn it into a real version by getting a key and activate. No reinstall needed.

All you need is find the LabVIEW 64bit installer. I am sure it is out there somewhere.
