Ethecat port Crio 9024

Hello all,

i am responsible to decide how LV (+ necessary hardwares from NI) deals with an existing robot using its ethercat connection, but everyday i have to spend too much time, eg restarting MAX or the whole host computer because everytime it faces problems connecting to the hardware. This process is repeated whenever i switch on the CRIO. i attach an example of the conflict i am facing now for two hours. Can anyone help plz?

Hi Samira,

can you give a bit more information about your setup?

Which robot are you using?

As far as I understand the connection works sporadically but most of the time you get the error message?

Do you always follow the same steps to make it connect or do you just restart MAX and the computer several times and suddenly it starts to work?

When you managed to establish the connection, does it remain stable until you restart the cRio?
