Error with installing drivers (DAQmx on community version)

Solved!
Go to solution

Hello, I am going through the LabVIEW core 1 training and am trying to follow along including using the DAQmx functions.

I've gone through this procedure here: How To Safely Completely Remove LabVIEW 2018 - NI Community Where I attempted to reinstall everything piece by piece (deselecting all options/drivers) and trying to install the DAQmx driver this way. I've managed to install "DAQmx" without any options selected but I still do not have DAQmx on my palette:

When I try to install additional drivers like the one below (to see if this is why I am not seeing DAQmx in my palette):

I get an error similar to something like this, for all the drivers I attempt to install:

Anyone have any idea how I can go about fixing this and getting DAQmx?

Thank you.

I managed to get NI-DAQmx on my palette by using the LabVIEW 2020 Community SP1 version (was using 2021) and downloading the NI-DAQmx offline version instead of downloading through the NI Package Manager.

Not sure which one of these changes (or both) made it so that I am able to use NI-DAQmx.
