Error code -63195 for Invoke Method: FIFO.Write

Can someone tell me what the error code -63195 means in Labview 2017?  I get this when I use the Invoke Method: FIFO.Write from the RT to a FIFO on the FPGA.

In short, the VISA connection between LabVIEW and the FPGA backplane has been closed.

Thanks. Any idea how to debug this? Does this have to do with the connection to the FPGA reference in the Labview code?
