I have found the source of the error. please refer to the attached file. Please let me know how to strip off the automatic append current VI to the path.

It looks like it is added right above "Probe 17" There also may be an issue with the way the slashes are facing. One half is one way and the other half is the other.

It seems like, judging from your posts, that you have inherited a large system with very little previous labview experience. Is this right? If so it may be beneficial for you to take training in labview, we offer online courses on ni.com and there are many third party books and courses that do the same. Are you going to be working with this project for a long time? If so formal training will most likely be much faster than trying to learn everything on the forums.
