Error -10243 occurred at DIO Port Config

I am currently getting the following error message:

"Error -10243 occurred at DIO Port Config:

NI-DAQ LV:  The driver could not locate or open the configuration file, or the format of the configuration file is not compatible with the currently installed driver."

How do I fix this problem?

Greetings

Hi manifsg,

you still use a device with this old TraditionalDAQ driver in 2021?

Mind to provide more information on the whole DAQ system?

Upgrade your setup to use DAQmx instead…

(Maybe it helps to replace the corrupt configuration file with a "known working" version taken from a backup of your DAQ software?)

Best regards,
GerdW

What should I do with those images?

Hi GerdW,

Still seeking advice from Expert by using the current system.

Impossible for my company to afford to spend money on an upgrade DAQmx system

Hi manifsg,

You are working with an OS going out of support 15 years ago.

You are working with a LabVIEW version decrecated since >20 years.

You are working with TraditionalDAQ driver which was replaced by DAQmx 18 years ago.

You are asking for help which only can given when having (physical) access to your DAQ system and complete source code.

Solution: Spend money on hiring a local expert to do your work of keeping this system running. There is a "Job openings" forum in this community…

I still propose the solution to spend money to replace this system by a modern version using modern components and modern software!

So your company don't want to spend any money and you want to get solutions for free by using this community?

What kind of business is your company involved in? Does your company also don't pay their suppliers?

GerdW
