During LabVIEW installation only the first DVD is processed.

This may be a Windows question. I'm not sure.

During installation of LabVIEW (NI software package) on our new Lenovo SL500 laptop PC's the first DVD loads just fine. When the second DVD is inserted in the drive the PC plays a seven-hour, multi-media, psychodelic presentation but never finds the installation software.

I don't know if it has anything to do with it but we removed Vista and installed XP on these machines as soon as we received them. Could the hardware and XP drivers be incompatible?

We're install the Spring 2009 version of the software.

Hi querty,

Hi qwertz (using a German keyboard Smiley Wink ),

have you tried to copy the DVD to the harddisc before?

Maybe it's just a reading problem (which you will find out more easily this way) and IMHO the installation runs usually quicker this way...

Best regards,
GerdW
