Does LabVIEW run on Windows XP Home?

I want to run a LabVIEW executable on a netbook and a lot of them run Windows XP Home.  Has anyone ever tried a LabVIEW executable on Windows XP Home?  The executable uses a serial port or USB serial port.

Thanks,

   Javi

It will run without any problems. Just don't forget to include Visa runtime engine and Labview runtime engine.

I don't know about the serial/USB stuff, but I'm running LabVIEW 8.6.1 on my Acer Aspire ONE netbook with Windows XP Home and things are great. (I even wrote a blog entry about it).

Greetings Javiucsd,

I recently performed benchmarks with a Lenovo S10 netbook, and posted the results here.

Hope this helps, and please let me know if you have any additional questions.
