I think one problem is developing the vision software for detection, and then developing ecuations for Brinell measurement. Both of them are software and really are not a problem. I think the first question is to know how to make NI vision software (builder for example) to detect the specific camera pictures. KingscanIII is a camera system developed by Equitek Co. If you can´t read from that camera, a difficult thing, more than software is to develop a camera and lenses housing with light for this applications. NI sells everything for vision optics but housing could be a problem, maybe changing housing as in Kingscan cameras with a dark room or camera tester.
