Digital Data and Waveforms - wheres all the data

Using digital data/waveforms for the first time and have some intitial questions and comments.

I am importing 4 columns of a digital data stream, nothing of course but 0,1's. The pattern varies but does 'hold' certain patterns for a period of time. i.e the pattern starts like this:

1111 0011
1111 0011
1111 0011
1001 1001
1001 1001
1100 0000
1100 0000

When I use the 'import spreadsheet to digital data.vi" the resultant digital table shows only the changing patterns but does show the index of where the pattern changes.

The problem is when I plot the data it does not seem to 'uncompress' the data correctly meaning it will not 'hold' the pattern for the timecounts.

If I open the "Simple Digital Waveform DT Graph.vi" example and type in repeating values, it does NOT trunicate the display and the resultant digital plot show the pattern 'hold' for the described time counts.

What's up?
