Differentiation Enquiries

Hi.

Anybody could clarify with me whether the method use in this VI for differentiation is correct or not?

 

My formula is :

Total Heat : ((r / (gamma - 1)) + 1) (PdV) + VdP

dV and dP is differentiation respect to alpha, dA. However, I'm not sure whether the method use is correct or not. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

Hi,

It seems correct for me. But have you execute the vi? Any error encountered? It is better you post your question instead of ask people read your VI.

From the help it states this VI (dP/da) is performing a discrete differentiation of the sampled signal X.
