When reading samples from a differential pressure transducer with NI 9237 using the DAQ Asssistant Express VI should the sample type be strain gauge or bridge?
Also, how should the sample size be set? We currently have the sample type as bridge and have an external sample rate of 1000Hz input to the express VI but the express VI is collecting samples at almost twice that rate.

I think it depends on your transducer. Does it use a Wheatstone bridge?
I'm confused about how you're trying to set an external sample rate. If you're using an external clock routed into the board through a PFI line, it will determine your sample rate. Are you using a timebase off of your chassis?
Fill me in a little more about your setup and hopefully we can get to the bottom of this.
