Determine co occurrance matrix of an image

I am trying to find fault in image of an texture(Garment). I need to determine the  co-occurrence matrix of an image matrix  based on the estimation of a second-order joint conditional probability ensity function that defines the spatial and intensity changes between pixels.

Im tryin to analyze texture defects in garments.I tried it first in LabVIEW by thresholding the images and finding the entropy. (VI attached) the method worked for single colored textures but wasnt sucessful for multi-colored complicated textures.

then we tried implementing the  gabor filter in matlab within the LabVIEW VI.(kindly refer the paper attached). we implemented eqs-1 to 4b in MatLAB as we know what it is. but we couldnt implement eq-5 as we don know how to find the co occurance matrix of the image.Plz help me with this...
