Detecting problem of NI modules in NI cRIO 9074

Solved!
Go to solution

Hello!

I'm Sean, and I'm totally a newbie but I have to deal with NI-9074, and I connected it with the computer using Ethernet. In NIMax, it can be detected in Remote systems. Then I attached NI 9265 and NI 9213 to NI 9074, but I found the modules nowhere in any of Ni programs. Is it a driver problem or something that I miss?

In MAX you will detect any remote target/device, like your cRIO-9074. But MAX will not show the modules in the cRIO chassis.

Instead you can add the modules to your LabVIEW project in the cRIO target branch. (Read the cRIO basics tutorial about these steps!)

Hi, @seannavis,

If you have a moment, could you mark @GerdW's reply as a Solution?

That way, if someone else has a similar problem and finds this post, they will know exactly where to look.

I'm glad @GerdW was able to give you the help you needed!

Hi GerdW,

Sorry to dig up this thread again, but could I ask which cRIO basic tutorial you are referring to? Thank you!

Well, search for "crio realtime basics" to find this or that
