Deploying FPGA bitfile

I need to know the proper way to deploy an FPGA bitfile to a clean system.  I included the bitfile in my deployment, an installed it in the FPGA Bitfiles folder in the application directory just like it does in the project.

My code is creates a reference then calls the download function at startup.  This is not working.  I get several FPGA errors and nothing in the FPGA is working

Am I doing this right?  Using Windows and not using RT in LV 8.6

What does your system look like, ie, what's your hardware configuration? Can you give us an idea of the errors you are getting and at what point are you getting them?
