Hi All,
Has anyone ever tried to connect two PC's via RS232 to share data between
them with datasocket in Labview? (Latest version of Labview).
If you can't do it with Datasocket, what other methods could you use to
transfer files/data between two PC's via RS-232 (and with modems), with
Labview running on both PC's.
We have a couple of applications we are trying to build:
1. PC No.1 measures some data and transfers the live data to PC No. 2 for
display via RS-232.
2. Labview running of both PC's. PC No.1 dials in to to remote PC No.2 via
a pair of modems and requests a file on PC No. 2 for downloading onto PC.
No1.
Also, has anyone ever programmed the common RS232 type protocols like Kermit
or zmodem etc in Labview? If so
, could you please point me to them.
