We are performing a continual stream of current measurements on just one channel of the NI-9203 module, running as fast as possible (about 5 us between measurements). We have very brief (100 ns) but strong spikes in the current signal, for which we want to get an average integrated current measurement every 1 s.
1) Does the module circuitry average/integrate the signal over the 5 us measurement period, or is the measurement actually over a shorter period of time?
2) Is there a measurement gap between the 5 us measurements, where no measurement is occurring? If so, what is its duration?
