DIGITAL FREQUENCY MEASUREMENT

I want to measure a frequency of 32KHz using counter input of DAQmx. But by measuring it using "Meas Dig Frequency-Low Freq 1 Ctr.vi", i am getting an error saying time out expired. I have tried by increasing samples per channel, time out etc. How to rectify it?
