DAQ assistant sending signal through AO

Hello,

I had an issue using labview to send a signal to an external device (EMG). When I created a generating signal task in NI MAX called VoltageOut, my external device can detect the signal. However, when I use labview with DAQ assistant (same setup), the external device cannot detect the signal anymore not matter how I set up the DAQ assistant (either integrated with my program or just a simple DAQ assistant).

Does anyone have any suggestions on that?

Suggestion: don't use the DAQAssistent!

Suggestion: use plain DAQmx functions! (Skip the first paragraph.)

Which device do you use?

Which kind of signal do you want to output?
