DAQ SampleRate vi vs loop iteration time?

actually, are the DAQmx examples on the DAQmx CD?  I can try to modify the installation and get them on here.

Attached is the VI. The VI is for DAQmx, maybe I misread the post since GerdW is talking about serial comms.
