DAQ 6351 Troubleshooting

I recently got a new DAQ device and am having problems with it already. My DAQ 6351 is seen by my computer but doesnt send any or receive any signals even in testing. Would anyone know of how to troubleshoot the problems or what to do, any advice would be great.

How do you know it's not working?  What connector block is connected to it?  How are you measuring its signals?

Are you using the MAX Test Panel to control it?  That's the place to start.  It can generate DC values and sine wave signals you can monitor with a DMM or scope and will show you the pinouts of your device.

Hello ZGWSU

You can use this link just to double check in MAX:

Hey David, your provided link just links back to this page.  Smiley Embarassed

OP:  When you say you see it in your computer do you mean the Device Manager?  It's possible that you simply haven't installed DAQmx which is needed for LabVIEW to work with DAQ hardware.  Again, NI-MAX program is the way to check these things.
