Cut off frequency of a low pass filter

Okay, ignoring all those stingy people who won't give you the time of day (it's 2:27 PM, EDT here), here's a solution for you. Beware, though, it's very sensitive, so if your function is not *spot on* smooth, your results are likely to change abruptly at seemingly random points.
