Is there any development towards being able to use custom services for explicit messaging? There are a variety of Ethernet/IP devices that utilize custom services. A specific example is that IO Link master devices on Ethernet/IP often utilize custom services to read/write IO Link device data (SMI Services). It is not possible to configure the connected IO Link devices with LabVIEW without the manufacturers custom service.
