I'm trying to create a task in MAX where I acquire both Voltage Inputs and a Counter Input. It seems that a task will only allow adding one type of input (i.e. only voltage OR counter). Does anyone know of a work around?
Yes, a DAQmx task can contain only one type, that is the rule. What you're looking for is to synchronize an analog input and a counter channel, is that correct?

Read Voltage takes different resources than Read Counter just like Read Paperback Book does not use the same hardware as Read Microfiche film. You can't create a single Task that does both.
