Copy App Builder Additional Installers to Hard Drive?

I'm using LV 8.2.1 and trying to create an installation.  My installation needs Traditional NI-DAQ, NI-VISA, and few others.  On the Additional Installers property page, there's a ton of options for these and other installers.  However, the source for each installer is spread across the four installation CDs (LabVIEW 8.2.1 and the three Device Driver CDs).  I don't want to have to swap CDs everytime I create an installation.  I read other posts about copying the CDs to your hard drive, which I did:

C:\NI Installers\Device Drivers 1 of 3
C:\NI Installers\Device Drivers 2 of 3
C:\NI Installers\Device Drivers 3 of 3
C:\NI Installers\LabVIEW 8.2.1

When I try to change the installer path from the CD drive to the corresponding folder in one of the above folders, I always get an error like this:

"An error occurred trying to locate {194B7A78-FFF9-44FE-82CA-EE4101A3A4F5} at the following location:
C:\NI Installers\Device Drivers 3 of 3"

It doesn't matter what folder level I navigate to, I always get the above message.  Any ideas on how to do this or what I'm doing wrong?

Thanks in advance!

Derek,

Thankyou for posting to the National Instruments Discussion Forums.

My first guess is that the Device Driver CD maybe corrupt. An alternative to using the Device Driver CD would be to download the individual drivers from ni.com: National Instruments Drivers and Updates

I would try to re-create the build specifications in your LabVIEW project and when it asks for the specific driver installation, direct it to the downloaded drivers instead.

Hope this helps!
