Converting flowcharts to LV code

When starting out on a new machine ( typically a test stand ) code in LV, the first obvious thing is to finalize the I/O summary of the machine, choose the relevant hardware and then develop the preliminary FPs and after this start developing the machine sequence flow charts. Once we are happy with the flow charts, the actual LV coding starts. And typically the sequences are handled by State Machines.

Right now we are manually converting the flow charts to LV code. I would like to know if there are any tools to help automate this process of LV code generation from flowcharts ? Or if I start defining the machine sequence in say UML, are there any tools ?

I've never used it.  But I know the Statechart Module exists.

You can get a UML writer and interpretere at Flander/Endevo. An free UML 2 state machine converter is found here, this does not include a UML editor.
