Controlling NEMA 34 with driver R1025 and with NI 6218

The signal doesn't seem to be able to be passed to the NI 6218. The colors are  blue and they should be purple from an online tutorial that I show.

Is there any problem?

What blue colors are you talking about in that picture?

Attach a link to your online tutorial so we know what you are referring to.

The CO.Pulse.Freq, CO.Pulse.DutyCyc and Implicit should be purples boxes and not blue...

or what else should I change in order the motor to work?

Hi Alexis,

 Why do you think so?

"Implicit" is the polymorphic instance of the DAQmxTiming function, it is shown inside a blue box as it should be.

Those "CO.Pulse.Freq/DutyCycle" are float values, and they are shown in orange as they should be.

Also,. purple is one of the colors for reference wires in LabVIEW.  You see it on that DAQmx reference wire.  VISA references are another common wire that is purple.

What value do you have in the Knob control?

Have you checked the terminals with an oscilloscope to see if it is outputting a signal?

Have your read the manual for the motor and its controller to see if there is anything else you need to hook up.  Often controllers have an "enable" terminal that must be wired.
