Connecting to a 6671a hp power supply

I had connected my 6671a power supply to lab view, installed the instrument driver, but when I was searching for it in the devices in ni max to get the visa number I couldn't find it. what should i do?

In MAX, the device should show up under the GPIB controller after you do a "Scan for Instruments" in the GPIB controller window.

If that is not the issue, then I would look at a bad connection (I have many Keysight power supplies that I am unable to properly connect a USB-GPIB controller directly to) or address conflicts (assuming multiple instruments).
