Solved!
Go to solution

I want to use lv_snap7.dll library but I cannot found it on the internet.

Does anyone has it and want to share it, or anybody know where can it be downloaded.

From THIS reference it only can be downloaded library called snap7.dll. And also lv_snap7, lv_snap_7.h and lv_snap7.def are there.

I don't have dll creators and I don't know how to do it.

Please help me to find lv_snap7.dll library!

If you go to the Snap7 home page on snap7.sourceforge.net/, you should be able to download the library with LabVIEW VI's. I currently can't check it as at the site I am now, sourceforge seems to be blocked as dangerous. But I know that the download used to contain a directory with LabVIEW VIs.

Labview VIs use lv_snap7.dll (call library node) so VIs cannot be used without it...

In this package from the sourceforge project page is a lv_snap7.dll for 32-bit and 64-bit operation. That should be all that you need. What doesn't work with that??

Well, you want to look at the examples/plain-c/snap7.h file in that archive.

But please note that you appended your inquiry to a post in the LabVIEW forum. LabVIEW is a different software from NI than LabWindows/CVI. There would have been also a thread in the LabWindows/CVI forum about Siemens S7 communication with discussion of the Snap7 library too!!
