Connecting HTM2500LF Temp/Humidity Sensor to USB-6001 DAQ

Hi,

Firstly excuse my lack of knowledge here I am a relatively new user to Labview and im struggling a bit.

I have been toying around with the TE Connectivity HTM2500LF Temp Humidity sensor and trying to get it to work with the USB 6001 DAQ. i (https://www.te.com/commerce/DocumentDelivery/DDEController?Action=showdoc&DocId=Data+Sheet%7FHPC169_...)

But I have had no luck trying to get it to work so far, I don't know if I have it wired incorrectly or I am configuring the values/settings incorrectly in DAQ express, to begin with would someone know how I should have the sensor connected?

At present I have W2 supply voltage (white) connected to +5v pin on USB 6001

W3 Humidity output (Yellow) to  AI 0 on USB 6001

W4 Temp Output (purple) to AI 1 on USB 6001

I also have a 10K Ohm resistor between the supply voltage W2 and the temp output W4.

I have W5 (black) shield left unconnected and had W1 (Brown) connected AI GND, is this where I am making an error?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The connection list sounds reasonable.

Did you use a simple DMM to (double-/cross-) check the sensor outputs and supply?

What happens when you use a simple 5V power supply (external to your DAQ device) to power the sensor? Which output voltages can you measure on W3/W4 using your DMM?

What means "no luck so far"?

Do you get any errors? Do you get unreasonable sensor readings?

Why do you use DAQExpress? (Are you talking about the DAQExpress software or do you talk about the DAQAssistent ExpressVI?)

Have you tried a simple example VI, using DAQmx functions to read your sensor values?

Have you tried a testpanel in MAX to verify the sensor readings?

Best regards,
