Can you provide, in detail, each of the steps you went through? Did you start in MAX with Devices and Interfaces>Create New>VISA TCP/IP Resource? Was the scope automatically found when you selected VXI-11? If not, then perhaps it's not VXI-11 compliant and you should use RAW.
