Choice of the OS

Hello.

I have to install a new PC and I wonder what OS I should take : 95, 98,
NT? I mean, for labview, what is the more efficient?

I think LabVIEW will interface to these OSes pretty much the same way. I
would go with NT since it is a bit more stable, and if LabVIEW ever crashes
it will be easier to gain control again with NT. If not that, 98 has the
functionality of 95, but with extra connectivity. So if you plan on using
LabVIEW's Internet Toolbox, 98 would be a good choice.

I've used labview in both NT and 95. I have not preceived any difference
in performance for labview. However, I think it is better to use NT for
other reasons such as overall stability.
